Unusual Salvation Army Postcards
Some of the correspondence received concerns Salvation Army postcards and we are always interested to see examples of interesting pieces. One such arrived recently and is illustrated below. It features the Italian Party in traditional dress at the 1914(?) Congress.

We are occasionally asked for help in identifying the story behind a postcard and were intrigued to receive the
card shown on the left. If anyone can shed any light on the story behind it, we would be delighted to hear and perhaps publish a short account of the tragic deaths of Captain and Mrs Ellis.
