Captain & Mrs. Stocker

A pair of cameo postcards of Captain & Mrs. Stocker circa 1900's

On the reverse is printed " The Salvation Army Series of Pictorial Postcards.

Specially Engraved and Printed by Milne, Tannahill, & Methven, The Specialist in S.A. Printing, Perth, N.B.


International Congress 1914
Two postcards from the 1914 International Congress showing the Japanese representatives and the Swedish party with the Swedish Staff Band. They are copyright S.A. Publishing Offices, 79 and 81 Fortess Road, London, N.W. The reverse of the cards features a Salvation Army Crest.


Satara School, India
Two postcards showing Officers and pupils of The Salvation Army School at Satara. In 1921 the officers and staff toured Europe and the postcards were produced for that tour. Kushi, on the extreme left, was Ensign Ellen Olsson, an Officer from Sweden. Read more.......


Dutch East Indies
A postcard of a Salvationist from the Dutch East Indies. It is from the International series of people amongst whom the Salvation Army work. Being card number 100. Printed by the Campfield Press.


Comic Postcard
One of the many comic postcards produced around the 1920's The joke on this one is probably older than the postcard itself. Printer and publisher unknown but it is card number 1742.


Salvation Army Soup Kitchen
A postcard produced by the S.A. Publishing Offices of a soup kitchen around 1905. The reverse carries an appeal from Bramwell Booth for donations with a request that cheques be made payable to William Booth


Field Officers, Staff Lodge
The first batch of Field Officers from the Staff Lodge, October 1907. Included on the postcard is the then adjutant, Windyback, who was later to become the National Bandmaster. Printer and publisher unknown


West Africa Party
