Words Of The Founders

Inspirational writings from the pen of this great man.

During his lifetime, William Booth delivered many important and inspirational speeches and addresses.
Much of what he said is still relevant today and it is with this in mind, that over the coming months we will be reproducing the text of some of his messages on our site.
If there is a particular piece you would like to see please let us know and we will do our utmost to include it.

You're Going Too Fast
A Vision Of The Lost
On Singing
Saved
The Call To Preach
A Soldier's Conversation

I'll Fight!
While women weep as they do now, I'll fight.
While little children go hungry, as they do now, I'll fight.
While men go to prison, in and out, in and out, as they do now, I'll fight
While there is a drunkard left,
while there is a poor lost girl upon the streets,
while there remains one dark soul without the light of God,
I'll fight - I'll fight to the very end.

William Booth's Addresses
