Not
Weary Yet
Jim Wilson's new book, Not Weary Yet, was launched at Hendon Corps on October
9th.
If you would like to order a copy please e-mail webmaster@sacollectables.com
with your name and address and I will invoice you as soon as it is available. Cost is just £8.99
including p&p.
In this volume Jim Wilson takes us on a journey of his family's involvement with The Salvation Army spanning three centuries. Starting with the early days of Govan Corps in the 1880's, through two world wars, the 1965 Centenary, Hendon Band's tours of the USA and thence to the present day.
Meticulously researched, the narrative in interspersed with historical images from Jim's own archive. Once you have read this book I am sure that like me you will feel that you have come to know Jim and his family personally. |
